This lovely Rosé has a sweet floral nose with hints of strawberry pure in the mouth. The finish is structured and leaves you wanting another sip. Try pairing this Rosé with all things bar-b-q; a cucumber, melon, mint salad, and some baby back ribs.
100% Vogelzang Vineyard Grenache. This vineyard is located in Happy Canyon of Santa Barbara County.
Winemaking:
The berries were foot stomped to break up the skins and then left in contact with the juice for 12 hours to pick up the slight coloring and phenolics. It was then transferred to neutral French oak barrels where it had a long cool 35-day fermentation. At completion of fermentation it was then transferred to stainless steel until bottling on March 27th, 2023.
